Member Schools

The HBCU Consortium provides:

  • Produce the largest number of uf schools indergraduate African- American Hospitality professionals graduating at any given time.
  • Collectively the Consortium members plan and execute marketing and recruitment plans that will keep enrollment at HBCU institutions growing.
  • Serve as a reservoir for data on minority graduates from HBCU on graduation, job placement, and job retention.
  • Serve to share best practices for pedagogical applications in teaching, engagement, and technology
  • Provide best practices for recruiting and retention of minority students at HBCU institutions.
  • Serve as role models and mentors for undergraduate and graduate students of HBCU institutions
  • Network to expand experiential learning activities and internship opportunities.
  • Use the HBCU platform to develop research projects and apply for grants, designed to advance student development.
